A job drops off the queue when its slots fill; there is no waiting list.
Several testers take the same job on purpose: how many people hit the same bug is itself information for the client.
The deadline is on the job. Missing it releases your slot, and the first time it happens your acceptance rate is untouched.
When the same build comes back for a retest, the testers who took it the first time are offered it first.

Testers with real embedded hardware are scarce. If you have a card reader, a meter or a control board, we move your application up the list.
