Data controller

Under Turkish law no. 6698 on the protection of personal data, BountyShift is the data controller.

Purposes

Your personal data is processed to match testing work, keep run records, judge disputes, run payments, handle support requests and meet legal obligations.

Legal grounds

Processing rests on the formation and performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interest. Application records rest on explicit consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

Transfers

Data is shared with payment institutions, hosting providers and competent public authorities, limited to the stated purposes. Run records and evidence files are transferred only to the company that owns the job.

Your rights under the law

Article 11 gives you the right to learn whether your data is processed, to have it corrected or erased, to know the third parties it was transferred to, and to claim compensation for damage.

What BountyShift is

BountyShift is a marketplace for software testing work. Companies send their new builds here to be tested, and the work is done entirely remotely — from home, on your own computer or phone. There are five kinds of job: website, mobile app, desktop software, embedded device and game testing. Every job's fee is known before you take it and is fixed; it does not change with how many faults you find, and a job where you find nothing is still paid. Payments run weekly, and no commission is taken from testers.
